Located in the north of Côte d'Ivoire, the Ferkéssédougou center is a transit point for children from other countries. Child trafficking is important there.

Under construction, Ferké’s reception house is located in the north of the Ivory Coast in the Savannah region on the border of Mali and Burkina Faso. This center is positioned on the route of child traffickers and dedicated to the care of child victims of trafficking, exploitation and smuggling. They are managed by the Ministry for Women, Families and Children .

• Identification of child victims of trafficking and exploitation in order to welcome them to the center
• Moral support from psychologists and social workers ;
• Health care for the child to provide health care for his good physical health ;
• Educational upgrading of children who have dropped out of school;
• Introduction to professional activities such as carpentry, hairdressing, sewing and crafts.
• Practice of team sports with socializing virtues.

• Social services allowing personalized care of children in psycho-educational and health terms;
• Teams of psychologists, specialized educators, social workers and health personnel;
• Dedicated structures including separate dormitories for girls and boys, multi-purpose buildings assigned to education and recreation;
• Administrative buildings including a refectory, an infirmary and offices for the staff.
