The Foundation works in 12 African countries by subsidizing centers whose primary purpose is to help children in the health, education and social sectors.

BENIN

 

Case des Tout-petits Urgence Afrique

 

The children’s shelter located in Togbota give priority to children from 3 to 5 years old to enroll them in school and teach them the basics of reading and writing.

 

 

BURKINA FASO

 

Samu Social in Ouagadougou

 

The mission of Samu social Burkina Faso is to provide medical and psycho-social assistance and support children to reintegrate the society.

 

 

 

Case des Tout-petits Urgence Afrique

 

The shelter supports children from 3 to 6 years and is based on the implementation of an original educational project, based not only on reading and writing learning but also on fun activities.

 

 

CAMEROON

 

HAC (Health of African Children)

 

HAC’s goals is to promote the development and re-education of children with disabilities. From September to May, during school day the center welcomes children with physical, sensory, motor or mental handicaps for rehabilitation: psychomotor kine, speech therapy and special education.

 

 

CENTRAL AFRICAN REPULIC

 

La Voix du Cœur

 

The Children of Africa Foundation supports la Voix du Cœur, an NGO which targets children living on the street. Its purpose is to help them and prepare them for family and social reintegration.

 

 

CÔTE D’IVOIRE

 

La Maison Arc en Ciel in Odienné

 

It’s an approved nursery that houses about fifteen orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children between 0 and 5 years old. This house is a place where the fulfillment of residents is a priority.

 

 

 

Sainte Marie Clinic in Bondoukou

 

The health center was built to provide better healthcare to the mother and the child. It was inaugurated in April 2017 and its 1st baby was born on May 2nd. The Sainte Marie clinic also receives thousands of patients each year. From a single building in 2005, the clinic now has 3 buildings completely finished and equipped.

 

 

 

La Maison de l’Enfance in Bouaké

 

This center takes care of child victims of violence or abandoned children by offering them food, health and clothing. Children are also involved in social, cultural and sport and fun activities. The shelter also has a sewing vocational training center in the village of Kaloukro for young girls in difficult situation.

 

 

 

Notre Dame des Sources in Bouaké

 

Its purpose is to rescue abandoned or neglected children. The center has already received many undernourished babies. Around the age of 2, depending on their state of health, the babies are reintegrated (where possible) into their family with follow-up (and a little financial help).

 

 

 

SAPE NGO in Abidjan

 

Sape CI is an association made up of social workers whose mission is to protect the rights and dignity of children, women, poor households through the implementation of social projects.

 

 

GABON

 

Arc en Ciel association

 

The Arc en Ciel association works for the protection of children in Gabon. It takes care of children in difficult situation and contributes to the promotion of child’s protection in Gabon.

 

 

GUINEA

 

Saint Joseph Home

 

This centre has nine homes which has welcomed almost 430 children. Most of these children are given the opportunity to complete high school or benefit from a vocational training. More than 2,000 children stayed at the centre before leaving. Today some of them have got a job and others have returned back home.

 

 

MADAGASCAR

MALI

 

Samu Social in Bamako

 

The intervention of Samusocial Mali is based on providing assistance to street children through daily night tours.

 

 

NIGER

 

L’association FEVVF

 

SOS FEVVF which helps women and children victims of domestic violence is in 2O18, the new center to be accompanied by Children of Africa Foundation. SOS FEVVF contributes to the creation of a supportive environment, where young people and adolescents are able to decide whether and when to marry and pursue a responsible sexuality with adequate services.

 

 

SENEGAL

 

Samu Social in Dakar

 

The mission of Samu social Senegal is to provide emergency medical and psycho-social assistance to its children and support them in the implementation of their projects to get off the street.

 

 

 

Village pilote in Dakar

 

Village Pilote has implemented different activities

• 115 discussions were organized with street children which has enabled to identify about 300 new teenagers living in the street.

• 221 youths were provided assistance

• 30 youths returned to their families

• 96 youths benefited from a vocational training

 

 

TOGO

 

Urgence Afrique NGO in Hanyigba-Todji

 

During school vacation in summer, volunteers of Urgence Afrique organize french and mathematics for children. They seperate them into groups to allow proper supervision.
