The Bingerville Mother-Child Hospital was inaugurated on March 16, 2018, it is a non-profit establishment. This is one of the major achievements of the Children of Africa Foundation in the health sector. The opening of this establishment makes it possible to improve the provision of health care to the populations, particularly with regard to mothers and children.
The health facility is built in the town of Bingerville, about thirty kilometers from Abidjan, and covers a plot of 4.9 hectares or 49,000 m2, with a built area of 16,300 m2. With its latest generation equipment and its capacity of 130 beds and places, it is positioned as a level III structure, in the Ivorian health pyramid.
The hospital has 475 employees including doctors, nurses and orderlies, in addition to administrative staff and other human resources, all trained on an ongoing basis for optimal patient care.
The Bingerville Mother-Child Hospital increases the level of care in the health area of Bingerville and the District of Abidjan, with national and sub-regional influence .
The main objective of the Dominique Ouattara Mother-Child Hospital in Bingerville (MCH) is to help reduce maternal, neonatal, infant and juvenile morbidity and mortality. To achieve this, the hospital relies on two essential strategies :
