The ceremony took place in the dining hall of the establishment and witnessed the presence of  the entire team. Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President of the Children Of Africa Foundation congratulated the management team and medical staff of the MCH for the excellent work done during these 5 years. This work, according to her, has enabled the hospital to enjoy international recognition.  The President of the Children Of Africa Foundation also emphasized the non-profit nature of the hospital. As such, she indicated that the MCH of Bingerville is not intended to generate profits for the Children Of Africa Foundation or for the Board of Directors who work on a volunteer basis.

Well before the wife of the Head of State, Mr. Hachim Diop, Director General of the MCH of Bingerville delivered his speech. He took the opportunity to explain the different services available at the hospital after 5 years of operation. Indeed, he revealed that 400,000 people have been treated by the hospital during these 5 years. The hospital has also registered 5,000 live births. It has hosted 58 surgical and medical missions. The MCH has more than 500 people working daily to provide quality care to the population.

Prof. Goué Yapo, spokesperson for the staff, thanked Mrs. Dominique Ouattara for giving them the opportunity to work in a setting as rewarding as the MCH of Bingerville. He insisted on the performance of the hospital which today, welcomes medical students for their research and foreign doctors. On behalf of the entire staff, he promised to do everything possible to maintain the course of the search for perfection.

Finally, the MCH staff presented a gift to Mrs. Dominique Ouattara. The ceremony ended with a cocktail.
