Her Majesty Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz, Queen of the Belgians, is on a three-day working visit to Côte d'Ivoire, in her capacity as Advocate of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). After meeting the President of the Republic, H.E.M. Alassane Ouattara, the Queen of Belgium visited the Bingerville Mother and Child Hospital on Monday March 4, 2024.
Her Majesty Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz, Queen of Belgium, was accompanied by Mrs Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of Côte d'Ivoire along with Mrs Maïmouna Koné, wife of the Vice-President, Mr N'Gou Pierre Dimba, Minister of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage, and many other personalities.
Mrs Dominique Ouattara's distinguished guest visited the pediatric consultation department, the neonatal unit, the medical analysis laboratory, as well as two (02) wards for children with cancer and ENT patients. During this final stage, Pr. Tamon-Anoh, Head of the ENT-Ambulatory Department and Pediatric Consultation, had the honor of explaining to the Queen of Belgium the operation of its department.
