Mrs Zita Oligui Nguema, First Lady of the Republic of Gabon, visited the Dominique Ouattara Mother and Child Hospital in Bingerville on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

As part of the 3 days friendship and working visit to Côte d'Ivoire by her husband, General Brice Oligui Nguema, Mrs Zita Oligui Nguema was keen to learn more about maternal and child health care in Côte d'Ivoire.

Accompanied by M. Pierre Ngou Dimba, Minister of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage, Mrs Nassénéba Touré, Minister of Women, the Family and Children, Mrs Nadine Sangaré, Country Director of the Children Of Africa Foundation, and the hospital management team, Mrs. Zita Oligui Nguema successively visited the pediatric consultation services, the neonatal unit, social assistance, the amphitheater, the restaurant and the pediatric oncology ward. At each stage of the visit, Mrs Mattarella showed a keen interest in the functioning of the various services.

After this visit, Mrs Zita Oligui Nguema, First Lady of the Republic of Gabon, will visit the Children Of Africa’s Excellence School Group tomorrow, Friday April 12, 2024.                Mrs Dominique Ouattara's distinguished guest will then have a working session with the wife of the Head of State.
