As a prelude to this celebration, Professor Peng Liyuan, First Lady of the People's Republic of China, launched an initiative in partnership with the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OPDAD) called "Warming the Hearts of Children: Joint China-Africa Action", with the aim of showing solidarity and contributing to children's health.

He concluded by emphasizing the firm commitment of the Chinese Embassy to cooperate with the Ivorian Government and the Children Of Africa Foundation to intensify exchanges and cooperation in the fields of education, health, youth and women, "in order to contribute to the construction of a high-level China-Africa shared community of the future".
