The 8th edition of Children Of Africa Gala Dinner: A plethora of celebrities and personalities gathered in Abidjan for the gala evening

The guests of the 8th gala dinner of the Children Of Africa Foundation arrived in the evening on Thursday, March 10, 2022. These personalities in the field of culture, sports, media and cinema arrived at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport in Port-Bouët by Air France flight. Their presence will obviously enhance the prestige of the gala evening that the Foundation is organizing this Friday, March 11, 2022, at the auditorium of the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire to raise funds for the construction of a shelter for abused women and for the reconstruction of the foundation’s shelter for children. In the crowd, we could see icons such as Adriana Karembeu, Mc Solaar, American actor Gary Dourdan, Isaac de Bankolé, Claudy Siar.

Among the guests, the Malian artist Sidiki Diabaté was willing to share his feelings. "We are always happy to come and serve this lady who fights for women and children. Because she is sincere with no hidden thoughts, we will always be there. Beside, Côte d'Ivoire and Mali are brotherly countries. I am here as a griot and a messenger to bring my contribution to the message of peace on behalf of the foundation," he said.

Adriana Karembeu: "It's a great pleasure because I think I have not come since I was pregnant. It's been four years. My perception of charities and the help we can give to children has completely changed because I am a mother now, and I feel more sensitive. As a result, I feel it is even more important to participate in the charity work of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara. She has been taking care of children in Africa for so long that it makes me very happy", said former model Adriana Karembeu.

It is important to note that the 8th gala dinner of the Children Of Africa Foundation will raise funds for the reconstruction of the Children's Hut and for the construction of a shelter for women victims of gender-based violence. The theme of this year is set as "Africa is the future".
