On Thursday, December 20, 2024, the garden of the Presidential Palace hosted the 2024 edition of the traditional Christmas Tree organized by the Children of Africa Foundation. The event, part of a long tradition of sharing and generosity, brought together 3,000 children from the various regions of Côte d'Ivoire, the neighbourhoods of Abidjan, as well as associations, ministries and the Presidency.
Miss Silué Divine, spokesperson for the children of Tchologo, thanked the First Lady for giving them the chance to discover the Presidential Palace, one of the symbols of the nation. “We dreamed of taking part in the Children Of Africa Foundation's Christmas tree with our beloved mother. At last, we're here at the Palace and we're the guests of honor - what a joy!” said Miss Silué Divine. She also expressed her delight at being at the side of the President of the Children Of Africa Foundation. “Mama Dominique Ouattara, today we are discovering the magic of Christmas, because we are standing before you. Thanks to you today, many children are very happy to share these magical moments, and they'll be going home with their arms full of presents,” she declared.
Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President of the Children of Africa Foundation, thanked her many partners for their constant commitment and support, which every year make this event a real moment of happiness for the children.
In a message addressed to all, the organizers wished a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all participants and to the entire Ivorian population
