The artist will perform on Saturday October 26 and Monday October 28, 2024, offering his Ivorian fans the opportunity to experience some exceptional musical moments. Taking advantage of these events, Koffi Olomid\u00e9 requested an audience with the First Lady to present his greetings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ydp1d61923amsonormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">After the meeting, the Congolese artist shared the reasons for his presence, praising both the simplicity and the grandeur of the wife of the Head of State.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ydp1d61923amsonormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">\u201cWhen we're lucky enough that the First Lady of C\u00f4te d'Ivoire accepts our invitation to come and say hello to her and to tell us all the good things we've always thought of her. We can't miss the opportunity. I came to pay my respects and tell this great lady how good she is. I\u2019m happy I met a First Lady of incredible simplicity. Let me tell you a secret. During the interview, she called me \u201cmy brother\u201d. I expected anything but that, and for that I salute and respect her,\u201d he declared.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ydp1d61923amsonormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">The artist also revealed a little about his concerts, which coincide with the celebration of the 38th anniversary of the Latin Quarter, his emblematic orchestra.\u00a0 To mark the occasion, the concert will take on a special color. Entitled \u201cKoffi \u00e0 la carte\u201d, the artist will give his fans the chance to choose their favorite songs themselves. \u201cI'm boosted as if I'd been endowed. I really feel doped up. I invite all fans of Koffi Olomid\u00e9, Cindy le C\u0153ur and quartier Latin. After 38 years of existence, I think quartier Latin has brought happiness to the whole of Africa over all these years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ydp1d61923amsonormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;\">We've known generations of musicians, young people who have evolved.\u00a0 And we're going to make a sort of condensed version. The evening is called \u201cKoffi \u00e0 la carte\u201d. In other words, every Ivorian will be free to choose his or her favorite song. If there are too many, we won't be able to play them all. But we'll do at least a good part of them. People will make their own evening. It's a new exercise, and we are doing this for the first time in Abidjan.
