{"id":1478,"date":"2019-09-30T19:04:27","date_gmt":"2019-09-30T19:04:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/childrenofafrica.org\/?p=1478"},"modified":"2021-10-12T19:06:03","modified_gmt":"2021-10-12T19:06:03","slug":"the-bingerville-mother-childs-hospital-receives-the-ap-hp-silver-quality-seal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/childrenofafrica.org\/en\/the-bingerville-mother-childs-hospital-receives-the-ap-hp-silver-quality-seal\/","title":{"rendered":"The Bingerville Mother-Child\u2019s Hospital receives the AP-HP silver quality seal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dominique Ouattara Mother and Child\u2019s Hospital in Bingerville received the silver quality seal from the Assistance Publique des H\u00f4pitaux de Paris (AP-HP) on Monday, September 30, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The AP-HP seal was presented to Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President of the Children Of Africa Foundation in the Amphitheatre of the Mother and Child Hospital of Bingerville in the presence of Mr. Aka Aou\u00e9l\u00e9 Eug\u00e8ne, Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, Martin Hirsch, Director General of Assistance Publique-H\u00f4pitaux de Paris (AP-HP), Mr. Gilles Huberson, Ambassador of France to C\u00f4te d'Ivoire, Mr. Jobst Von Kirchmann, Ambassador of the European Union to C\u00f4te d'Ivoire, partners and hospital staff.<\/p>\n<p>After receiving the AP-HP seal, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara explained the team\u2019s achievements since the hospital was opened.\u00a0 For the initiator of the health facility, the achievement of the hospital resides in its quest for exellence and quality. \"The quality approach that we created and maintained, have encouraged us to compete for the AP-HP seal. The AP-HP label is awarded by the Assistance Publique des H\u00f4pitaux de Paris to establishments that meet international standards in terms of infrastructure, equipment and quality of care. This is all the more important because France has one of the most efficient health systems in the world,\" explained Ms. Dominique Ouattara.\u00a0 This recognition makes the MCH a reference hospital in Africa and around the world.<\/p>\n<p>\"As I receive this seal today, I look back with emotion on how far we've come. Our difficult times are now replaced with relief and pride. Yes, we made it! The Dominique Ouattara Mother-Child Hospital in Bingerville is considered today as a hospital of reference, \" she said with joy.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Eug\u00e8ne Aka Aou\u00e9l\u00e9, Minister of Health and Public Hygiene welcomed the commitment of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara to improve the health care system in C\u00f4te d'Ivoire. He mentionned the achievements and actions of the President of Children Of Africa for decades in the health sector. Finally, he said that the recognition comes at the right time as the Government is preparing to officially launch the Universal health care coverage (CMU).<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Martin Hirsch, Director General of the AP-HP explained in detail the process to be awarded the AP-HP seal. He recalled the professionalism and dynamism of the MCH staff.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Nicole Perrier, Project Manager at the Assistance Publique des H\u00f4pitaux de Paris, also congratulated the exceptional dynamism of MCH staff when the process was launched.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hachim Diop, MCH Director General, congratulated his staff.
