THE MAJOR CHALLENGES OF OUR ACTIONS FOR THE SUBSIDIZED CENTERS

The Foundation works in 12 African countries by subsidizing centers whose primary purpose is to help children in the health, education and social sectors.

Typology of actions carried out:

• Centers for the reception of street children

• Rural health centers

• Vocational training centers for women in rural areas

• Toddler boxes

BENIN

Urgence Afrique toddlers' hut

This box includes 28 students who benefit from the material and financial support of the Children of Africa Foundation.

In 2017 the equipment of the hut focused on:

  • Living areas with small wooden workbenches in the classroom
  • Equipment of outdoor spaces with a swing and slide for recreational and sports activities
  • The realization of chairs and table;
  • The provision of slates and school supplies;
  • School prizes awarded to the best students.

In 2018, it will be a question of enlarging the box by building a new room to separate the section for children and adults.

BURKINA FASO

Social Samu  of Ouagadougou

The mission of the Samu social in Burkina Faso is to provide emergency, medico-psycho-social assistance to its children and to support them in carrying out their sustainable street exit project in the city of Ouagadougou.

The Foundation supports this original initiative, which is fully in line with its approach to protecting children.

Urgence Afrique toddlers' hut

The hut takes care of children from 3 to 6 years old and is part of the establishment of an original educational project, based not only on activities for learning to read and write but also on activities fun and enriching extra-curricular activities.

The Children of Africa Foundation is supporting this project by providing support and grants.

CAMEROON

HAC (Health of African Children)

HAC aims to promote the development and rehabilitation of disabled children. During the school year, the center welcomes children living with a motor and mental handicap from September to May for rehabilitation: physiotherapy psychomotor, speech therapy and special education. social.

The Foundation supports HAC in its actions by regularly contributing to their funding.

CENTRAL AFRICA

The Voice of the Heart

In downtown Bangui, the Voice of the Heart, assisted by the Children of Africa Foundation, intervenes in favor of street children. Its goal is to help them and prepare their family and social reintegration.

The Foundation supports this original initiative, which is fully in line with its approach to protecting children.

IVORY COAST

The Odienné  Rainbow House

It is an approved nursery that welcomes full-time around fifteen children between the ages of 0 and 5, orphans, abandoned and vulnerable.

This house is a place of life where the development of everyone is a priority.

The Foundation supports Maison Arc en Ciel in its actions by regularly contributing to their funding.

Dispensary Sainte Marie of Bondoukou

In order to better support the mother and child couple, the center inaugurated its maternity hospital in April 2017 and its first baby was born on May 02.

The Sainte Marie dispensary also receives thousands of patients in consultation each year.

With just one building in 2005, the dispensary now has 3 completely finished and equipped buildings.

The Children of Africa Foundation is supporting this project by providing support and grants.

Bouaké Childhood Center

This center takes care of children victims of violence or abandoned by providing them with food, health and clothing, social, cultural, sports activities and relaxing outings. The House also has a vocational training center in sewing for young girls in difficulty in the village of Kaloukro.

The Foundation supports the Maison de l'Enfance de Bouaké in its actions by regularly contributing to their funding.

Our Lady of the Sources of Bouake

Its mission: to collect abandoned or abandoned children. Many babies are also welcomed in a state of undernutrition.
Around the age of 2 and depending on their state of health, they are reintegrated (when possible) into their family with a follow-up (and a small financial aid).

The NGO SAPE in Abidjan

Sape CI is an Ivorian law association made up of state-certified social workers whose mission is to protect the rights and dignity of children through social projects and direct proximity actions in favor of children in social difficulty, women and poor households.

The Foundation supports the Maison de l'Enfance de Bouaké in its actions by regularly contributing to their funding.

GABON

The Arc en Ciel association

The Arc en Ciel association works for the protection of children in Gabon. Its objectives are to welcome, take care of and (re) integrate children in difficulty as well as to promote the protection of children in Gabon.

The Foundation supports the Arc en Ciel association in its actions by regularly contributing to their funding.

GUINEA

Saint Joseph Foster home

This center has 9 homes which include nearly 430 children, most of whom can study up to the patent or even the baccalaureate or benefit from vocational training. More than 2000 children have already passed through the home and have become independent: they work or they have joined their families.

The Children of Africa Foundation is supporting this project by providing support and grants.

MADAGASCAR

 père Pedro center

The Père Pédro center has been supporting children in difficulty for many years.

The Foundation provides occasional support to the Père Pédro Center in its actions by contributing to their funding.

MALI

The intervention of the Samu social du Mali is based on a mobile approach with street children and young people, through daily night tours called "maraudes".

The mission of the Samu social in Mali is to provide emergency, medico-psycho-social assistance to its children and to support them in carrying out their sustainable street exit project in the city of Bamako.

NIGER

The FEVVF association

SOS FEVVF which helps women and children victims of domestic violence is in 2O18, the new center to be supported by the Children Of Africa Foundation. SOS FEVVF contributes to the creation of a supportive environment, where young people and adolescents are able to decide whether and when to marry and to pursue responsible sexuality with adequate services.
SENEGAL

The intervention of the Samu social in Senegal is based on a mobile approach with street children and youth, through daily night tours called "maraudes".
The mission of the Samu social in Senegal is to provide emergency, medico-psycho-social assistance to its children and to support them in carrying out their sustainable street exit project.

The Foundation regularly supports the Samu Social de Dakar in its actions by contributing to their funding.

Dakar pilote village

Pilot Village has implemented various activities:

• 115 mobile street tapping was carried out in the streets of Dakar and identified nearly 300 new young people.
• 221 supports
• 30 family returns were carried out throughout Senegal
• 96 young people were able to benefit from the services of the vocational training center

TOGO

Hanyigba-Todji's NGO Urgence Afrique

The NGO Urgence Afrique favors school education for children in the village of Hanyigba-Todji in Togo.

It provides French and math lessons to children, it supports the creation of groups of levels to better supervise them and provides support for the establishment of support lessons during school holidays.

The Foundation regularly supports the NGO Urgence Afrique in Togo in its actions by contributing to their funding.
